What is Dry Needling?
Dry Needling is a manual therapy technique used in order to help alleviate pain and dysfunction and to reduce inflammation. The treatment involves using a thin monofilament needle that is "dry" as it does not contain any solution or medication.
Dry needling is a technique that can, in many cases, address the pain and dysfunction associated with overuse injuries. Some conditions specific to runners that can be addressed with Dry Needling are: Achilies tendonitis, patellar tendonitis, IT Band Sydrome, quad and hamstring muscle tightness, and muscle strains of the calf, hamstring, quad and hip flexor.
In addition to offering therapy that can be billed through your insurance they also offer a performance enhancement therapy option.
